Owner and Photographer at Lea Photography & Design

Artist Statement

I have always been interested in photography and creating images of a variety of subjects. In the last few years I decided to take my interest to the next level and obtained a diploma in photography. Making a career out of an interest is a scary and exciting adventure which I look forward to enjoying for many years.

I shoot mostly natural light and therefore preferring photo shoots to take place in natural and beautiful surroundings. I believe people and animals are more relaxed when in locations familiar to them. I strive to encourage a fun, laid back experience for people and pets during their photo sessions.

Outside of portrait and fine art photography, I enjoy photo editing and restoration, and other photo projects (recently I worked on a family history book) . I also enjoy other varieties of art, traveling, being outdoors and spending time with my family.

I look forward to any comments or interest you might have about my work. Thank you.
